Media touched on the Royal Family too!!!

“Grazia has admitted that it inadvertently slimmed down the waist of the Duchess of Cambridge by digitally altering a controversial cover picture of her in her Alexander McQueen wedding dress.” (TheGuardian.com)

I understand that media needs to retouch the models’s, actresses’s , and actors’s bodies however, I do not see the point of slimming the Duchess of Cambridge as “She is already famously very slim” (Online Mail). Also she is the icon of not only one nation, she is part of Royal Family that is seen as: “symbol of our Liberty” (The Telegraph). Many people have comment this situation on social media to support Kate and go gaints the magazine Grazia. There is one of the many comments that were published by Daily Mail: “Tammy said: ‘You could tell she’d slimmed down (from her already slim frame) before the wedding, and it wasn’t ENOUGH. it’ll never be enough.” As Tammy said, for Media woman/man will never be beautiful enough however, my question is: When it will be enough? What is the ideal beauty? For how long the media will be playing with our minds and giving us the right beauty icon by them?

The Grazia said to The Guardian that: “would like to reassure all our readers that we did not purposely make any alternations to the Duchess of Cambridge’s image to make her appear slimmer, and we are sorry if this process gave that impression”.
